Pendulum - In Silico

Just downloaded it from Amazon.

I’ll pretty much buy any of their albums. To me, this is the ‘play it REALLY LOUD and get stuff done’ band if there ever was any.

This is out of 5 stars. Dammit. My wife has me rating everything now because of her site. I can’t eat a meal now without rating it, heh.

This is after listening to it only once…at pretty much FULL blast.

Track 5 - The Other Side - ***
Track 6 - Midnight Runner - ***
Track 7 - Visions - ****
Track 8 - Propane Nightmares - *****

Track 10 - Showdown - ***** (!)

Overall, this is definitely not the blowout album like their first…which is still probably in my top 20 all time favorite albums.

I like them because their music is unique. A lot of the electronic music out there follows the same pattern. Pendulum doesn’t necessarily ‘break the mold’ to me…but they definitely have their own sound.

I’d probably say that track 2, 8 and 10 will keep me coming back to this album.

Overall….a solid 3 stars.
